Just as summertime heats up, Ron Keel Band cranks it up a notch with their new single and video “Girls Like Me,” from their acclaimed EMP release “Fight Like A Band.”

After amassing over 40,000 views of the album’s first two clips (a lyric video for the lead track “Road Ready” and an official music video for the title track), the new “Girls Like Me” clip harkens back to a time when rock videos were fun, tongue-in-cheek, a little silly, and a lot sexy. The video features two bands for the price of one – the actual RKB, and some of Las Vegas’ hottest female rockers cast in the roles of their counterparts.

Centerstage is Carol-Lyn, Sin City’s premiere female rock vocalist, former star of “Raiding The Rock Vault” and many other big production shows and bands. She currently stars in “Herstory Of Rock” as well as fronting “Sheclipse,” the all-female Journey tribute band.

“Carol-Lyn and I have been friends since I first moved to Vegas 13 years ago,” Ron Keel explains. “The vision for this video came to me in a flash, and I saw her in the starring role…she put the band together and filmed all their scenes on location in Vegas and she really cowgirled it up for this one!”

“Girls Like Me” provides a light-hearted contrast to many of the other songs on the new album. “I think is what Van Halen would have sounded like if they had been born in Georgia like I was,” Keel reasons.

Ron Keel Band has a full summer schedule of shows this summer, including direct support to Night Ranger (“Hot Harley Nights 2019”), headline appearances at the Sturgis Rally and other bike events, and fairs, festivals and club dates from Green Bay to Denver with plans to head south and west for the winter. 2020 dates are already being confirmed such as a headline slots at the annual “Kickin’ Up Kountry” festival in Minnesota and the “Ballpark Bash” in Ohio.
